The fifteenth path (Heh, joining Chokmah to Tiphareth) is called the Constituting Intelligence because it constitutes creative force (or, the essence of creation) in pure darkness. According to masters of contemplation, this is that darkness mentioned in Scripture: "Thick darkness a swaddling-band for it.’ "
